Career

Professor emeritus of the Charité, full professor of radiology, nuclear medicine and radiotherapy.

From 1974-1978 C3 Professor at the University of Bonn. From 1984-1987 Medical Director of the Charlottenburg Clinic of the Free University of Berlin. From 1978-2006 Director of the Clinic of Radiology of the Charité Campus of the Virchow Clinic. From 1999-2001 Dean of the Charité. Honorary Member German Radiological Society (Deutsche Röntgengesellschaft) 2009. Honorary Member European Society Cardiac Radiology 2009. Honorary Member Berlin-Brandenburg Society for Cardiovascular Diseases 2012.
